I would describe myself as opimistic, skeptical melancholy, a realist but a dreamer.
Born 1953 in Hamburg/Germany where I still live.
Rather late photography came into my life. I am self-taught. From the very moment I held a digital camera in my hands I was fascinated by the quick availability of the pictures. Later I started learning how to handle Photoshop. A never ending process. I discovered a new world. Finally I found a medium to express myself in a creative way.
My main interests are stills, flowers and people, preferably nudes and portraits. I like to show the stillness in our hectic world, the beauty of the familiar and ordinary things.
Tulips are my favorite flowers, not in my garden but in photography. I love their simple elegance and the certain grace they develop while withering.
Is photography only a hobby ? No, photography is more, photography is passion.
My dream is publishing a book. A realistic dream ?
